Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia (AGD)

The logo of Accountant General’s Department (AGD) of Malaysia was launched by Y.B. Dato’ Dr. Jamaludin bin Mohd Jarjis, Minister of Finance II on 20th October 2003 in conjunction with the AGD Quality Day. The Ceremony was also attended by YBhg. Tan Sri Samsudin Hitam, Secretary General of Treasury. This logo was created from the combination of red, blue and yellow colors.

The following offers an explanation for the said logo:-

Red Stripe Line : Accountability and abbreviaton for Accountant i.e the letter ‘A’

Blue Stripe Line : Professionalisme and abbreviation for Negara i.e the letter ‘N’

Yellow Stripe Line : Quality and signature symbol of the Accountant General’s of Malaysia

Combination of Red and Blue Stripes : Abbreviation for Malaysia i.e the letter ‘M’

Computer Screen : Reflects the symbol of calculation or solving a particular problem
